I&#8217;ve tried uninstalling it, removing all configs, reinstalling it, using the shipped config defaults, and I still get this error in \/Library\/Logs\/Mozy.log:<\/p>\n<p><code style=\"white-space: nowrap\">INF (backup) Starting backup<br \/>\nINF (backup) Using 108.7 MB of memory<br \/>\nINF (backup) User ID is [snipped for paranoia's sake]<br \/>\nINF (backup) Checking for update<br \/>\nINF (backup) Connecting to [snipped for paranoia's sake]<br \/>\nINF (backup) Version is up-to-date (1.4.3.3)<br \/>\nINF (backup) Adding new history entry<br \/>\nINF (backup) Cleaning up temporary files<br \/>\nINF (backup) Loading encryption key<br \/>\nINF (backup) Loading machine information ...<br \/>\nINF (backup) Connecting to [snipped for paranoia's sake]<br \/>\nINF (backup) Loading configuration from the server<br \/>\nINF (backup) Connecting to [snipped for paranoia's sake]<br \/>\nINF (backup) Fetching the manifest hash from the server<br \/>\nINF (backup) Connecting to [snipped for paranoia's sake]<br \/>\nINF (backup) Server version is 1.3.0.19<br \/>\nINF (backup) Building backup set<br \/>\n<span style=\"color:red; font-weight: bold\">ERR (backup) Churn is not running, exiting backup<\/span><br \/>\nINF (backup) Cleaning up, finishing<br \/>\nINF (backup) Updating existing history entry<br \/>\nINF (backup) Finished backup (Client error)<br \/>\nINF (backup) Backing up history<br \/>\nINF (backup) Using 108.9 MB of memory<br \/>\nINF (backup) Ending backup<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I see this as well:<\/p>\n<p><code><span style=\"white-space: nowrap; color: red; font-weight: bold\">ERR (churn) Failed to scan files, stopping: database is locked<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n<p>What is &#8220;Churn&#8221;? What database is locked? I <b>am<\/b> running Time Machine as well. Does that matter? Any ideas out there? I know some of you used to work at Mozy.
